Postgraduate studies

Hello, today i'm going to write about:

 Postgraduate studies/Second degree

In a few years, after I finish my odontology studies I have to do my post grad specialty, I have a lot of interest and i love studying, also, it's very important to not to settle for just the "one" degree you studied, since you have to take into consideration that the work environment is complicated and they do not usually hire people who don't have postgraduate degrees. That's why I must continue with my studies and I would like to do maxillofacial, forensic or a periodontal post grad specialty, but it's actually up to what is going to be easier, intellectually stimulating and more interesting to me in the future, but I have to calculate and analyze the best option in a couple of years.

The other option or "plan b" I have is to study a second degree on medicine, because thats my dream job, and that's really what I wanted to study since literally all my life. With this option i'm going to have two professions and i would love that, because I always wanted to have more than just one degree.

Also I want to take in the near future some criminology courses because I always loved that topic and all the things related to behavioral analysis and profiling to investigate crimes, I would like to work on it for a while and hopefully in the PDI so I can have some rank or something like that.

This is the end of my blog, thank you for reading.

  1. You still have a lot of time and it is never too late to study another career, especially if it is your dream job. Criminology is very interesting, even in my career (chemistry) there is also a specialization in forensic chemistry.

  2. A very interesting entry. Pursuing your dreams it's a long term endeavour but rewarding at the end.
